With more than 25 years of international leadership experience in the truck industry, he has held senior roles across Europe, Latin America, and Australia, including the launch of fully electric truck solutions.

Alexey leads the EMEA pre-sales solution engineering team for Keysight Technologies’ power and e-mobility test solutions. An electrical engineer with almost 20 years of industry experience, he specializes in EV and EVSE charging communication, bidirectional charging, grid-code compliance, and power-system validation. He works with automotive OEMs, charging-infrastructure manufacturers, national test laboratories and research organizations to translate evolving standards into practical, automated test strategies.

Amit Bhonsle is the Head of Product for Hubject North America, where he drives the product strategy and execution for the region. He oversees the deployment and expansion of Hubject’s Plug&Charge ecosystem and the Intercharge eRoaming network, facilitating seamless interoperability between electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.

With over two decades of experience in the automotive, technology, and telecommunications sectors, Amit has held key leadership roles at Audi of America, Corning Optical Communications, and Motorola. Prior to Hubject, he served as a Product Manager at Audi of America, where he spearheaded the development and launch of the digital charging platform for the Audi e-tron, the brand's first battery electric vehicle. At Corning, he led market intelligence and strategic planning for the wireless business division.

Arne Schlowak is Lead Testing Engineer and Test Facility Manager at the Hubject Testing Facility, specializing in charging communication systems for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.

He holds a Master of Science in Automotive Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, with a focus on automotive software and electronics.

Arne began his career at Volkswagen’s high-voltage test center (TCH) in Fallersleben, where he developed test systems for conformance and interoperability based on DIN SPEC 70121, ISO 15118, and GB/T 27930. His work included HIL test bench development, automated testing, and analysis of charging communication.

In his current role, Arne develops and leads advanced testing services for charger manufacturers, OEMs, and charge point operators, ensuring robust and interoperable charging communication across the e-mobility ecosystem.

Since 2020 he has taken on one of the vicepresidencies of E-Mobility Europe for 6 years in a row and now, he is a member of its Board of Directors.

Asmelash Dagne is an Ethiopian environmental resource management specialist, permaculture practitioner, and renewable energy professional with more than 18 years of experience in sustainable development, agroecology, and appropriate technology. He holds an MSc in Environmental Resource Management with a focus on renewable technologies. He has extensive experience in permaculture design, agroforestry, climate-smart agriculture, integrated natural resource management, and solar energy systems.

Based in southern Ethiopia, Asmelash works with communities, educational institutions, NGOs, and development partners to develop practical solutions that connect environmental sustainability with resilient livelihoods and local economic development. He is the founder of Asmelash Dagne Agroecosystem Development & Solar Technology Consultancy and Trading, providing expertise in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, water systems, and capacity building.

At icnc26, Asmelash will present the E-Mobility for Social Impact in Ethiopia initiative, an innovative model combining electric mobility, renewable energy, and social enterprise to improve access to healthcare and education in rural communities. The project uses revenue generated through electric transportation and charging infrastructure to support medical outreach, student transportation, local employment, and community development.

His work demonstrates how appropriate technologies and regenerative approaches can move beyond individual projects to create integrated, locally driven systems for ecological resilience, social wellbeing, and sustainable development.

Aurélien de Meaux is a French entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of Electra, the French leader in ultra-fast charging stations for electric vehicles. Since its launch in 2020, Electra has raised over 1 billion euros and currently operates over 750 charging sites (~4,500 charging points) across Europe. The company aims to deploy 2,200 stations, or 15,000 charging points in Europe by 2030. Prior to founding Electra, Aurélien co-founded Cheerz, a startup specialized in photo printing, which had sales of 50 million euros when he sold the company to CEWE. Aurélien holds a degree in economics from Exeter University and an MSc in management from emlyon business school.

Baerte de Brey works at Stedin, a Dutch DSO. Responsible for analyzing the longterm effect of electric mobility on the electricity grids, Baerte helps building a sustainable business case around this transition. This includes vehicle2grids, solving regulatory barriers and cyber security. He graduated from Leiden University in 2001 with a law degree and received a MBA from Nyenrode Business University in 2006. As the former Vice-President of E-Mobility Europe, he helps materializing a clean and sustainable vision through out different countries by aligning on standardisation, with benefits for all.

Carsten Puhl Graduated from Saarland University, Germany, where he studied information sciences, English literature, and American studies. He began his career at Mobile City GmbH as data protection before becoming chief operating officer at Wirelance GmbH, where his primary focus was on mobile parking solutions, electromobility services and data security. Carsten joined the Hubject Consulting Team as a senior consultant in March 2018. In January 2019 he was promoted to chief technology officer and member of the board of directors where he was responsible for product and software development. In January 2023 he was made director of financial services for Hubject where his main focus was on financial regulations. He held this position until May 2024 when he was appointed as managing director of the newly-formed Hubject Financial Services.

Casper Rasmussen is the CEO & Co-founder of Monta, the leading platform powering EV charging operations across Europe and North America. Prior to Monta, he served as CTO at Monstar Lab Group. Monta has raised over €130 million in funding since launching in 2020 and is the software backend of hundreds of thousands of chargers. Casper brings deep technical expertise and a visionary mindset to solving the complex challenges of EV infrastructure at scale. As a recognised thought leader in EV charging, he frequently speaks on topics such as interoperability, charge point utilisation, and the role of AI in e-mobility.

Chris is the Secretary General at E-Mobility Europe, overseeing all activities of the association. A British and Belgian national, Chris has worked in EU trade associations across the electric vehicle supply chain over the last 13 years. He joined E-Mobility Europe after a decade leading the public affairs and communication programme for Eurometaux, Europe’s metals association, where he was an instrumental industry voice in raising Critical Raw Materials up the EU political agenda.

Christian Hahn received a master’s degree in industrial engineering in 2005, with a special emphasis on environmental and power technology as well as change management. His career began at ThyssenKrupp and Daimler AG, followed by six years

at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Berlin, where he specialized in consulting for the energy supply business. As an advisor, he was primarily responsible for areas within strategy and business development, optimizing business processes and project management, smart energy, intelligent networks, and smart metering.

He began working on his first electric vehicle projects in 2008. He joined Hubject in 2012, where he started as Head of Business Development and Administration. Christian Hahn was appointed CEO of Hubject GmbH in January 2015. Following a change in the management team in January 2019, his primary focus is now on strategy, investor relations, and the global Hubject company setup.

Claude Muller is Director of e-Mobility at INDIGO Group, a world leader in the parking and urban mobility sector. He oversees INDIGO’s European activities as a Charge Point Operator (CPO), driving the deployment and operation of EV charging infrastructure and digital charging services across multiple markets. In France, INDIGO already operates more than 7,000 charge points, making the Group the French leading CPO in urban environment. EV charging has recently been integrated into INDIGO Neo, the Group’s digital sales and services interface, enhancing customer experience with seamless access to on-street parking, off-street parking, and now EV charging. Previously, Claude held senior positions at Stellantis and Renault/Nissan, contributing to the launch of the first electric vehicles in Europe, and served as CEO of Egis Mobility Services in France and then Mexico developing mobility, payments, and tolling operations.

Constantin Popov is Senior Product Manager for Marketplace and Integrations at AMPECO, where he builds the platform layer that lets third-party applications run on top of a charging network. He also defines AMPECO’s own Marketplace applications, the same path an AppSpark idea takes to reach operators.

She was born in Berlin in 1976, where she also studied law. She gained her first journalistic experience in the local newsroom of the "tageszeitung" (taz). After passing her state law exam, she trained at the Berlin School of Journalism, completing internships in Berlin, Hamburg, and New York. Her first permanent position took her to American journalism: she worked for two years as a legal reporter at the Bloomberg news agency in Frankfurt. In May 2005, she joined the business section of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z.). In April 2014, she moved to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (F.A.Z. Sunday edition). She is a co-author of the non-fiction book "Wer hat an der Uhr dreht?" (Who Turned the Clock Back?) and a regular host of the F.A.Z. podcast for Germany. Since August 2020, she has worked as a business correspondent in Berlin.

Daniel Breton is President and CEO of Electric Mobility Canada, one of the oldest associations dedicated to the electrification of transportation in the world. This organization has more than 200 members, including electricity suppliers, vehicle manufacturers, cities, universities, unions, technology companies, research centers, government departments, environmental NGOs, electric vehicle owners’ associations, fleet managers, etc. A former Quebec Minister of the Environment, Sustainable Development, Wildlife and Parks, he was the first elected official in charge of a government strategy for the electrification of transportation in Canada in 2012. He graduated in sustainable carbon management and has written several books about transportation electrification, climate change, air pollution and energy transition since 2009.

Daniel Scholz is Head of Sales at i4B Software Engineering Europe, where he works with leading companies across the EV charging ecosystem to deliver software solutions for charging infrastructure, fleet electrification and energy management. Prior to i4B, he held commercial leadership roles at Smappee and The Charging Project, helping grow businesses across the EV charging market. Combining commercial strategy with hands-on industry experience, he works closely with CPOs, OEMs, utilities and fleet operators on the software challenges of large-scale electrification.

Daniel Spogat leads KRAVAG Truck Charging (KTC), an initiative building a shared charging network for electric trucks by connecting private logistics depots. His work sits at the intersection of logistics, charging infrastructure and digital platforms, bringing together fleets, depot operators and partners to unlock charging capacity and accelerate zero-emission road freight.

David Vallespín is co-CEO of Eranovum since 2021. He has extensive experience in the engineering and innovation sector, having worked for aerospace manufacturers, technology consulting firms, and as a professor at various universities. He has participated in international research and development projects in sustainable transportation and autonomous systems. He currently leads Eranovum’s mobility division, which deploys and operates an extensive electric vehicle charging network in Spain, France, and Belgium.

Dominic Ponattu has served as Head of the Industry, Energy, Research, and Defense Industry Division at the Federal Chancellery since 2025; he had previously been employed there since 2021. Until 2019, Dominic Ponattu worked in the private sector, including as a consultant at Roland Berger and for the Bertelsmann Foundation. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Government (First Class) from the London School of Economics, where he also earned an M.Sc. (with Distinction); he received his Ph.D. from the University of Mannheim. Dominic Ponattu was named one of Capital Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2022 and 2023, is a Young Leader of Atlantik-Brücke, and is a Fellow of the Bucerius Summer School and the German National Academic Foundation.

Dominik Bachstein holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Southern Denmark and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, and Social Sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, complemented by international studies at the University of British Columbia.

He has built his career in international business development and sales across the mobility and technology sectors. Prior to joining Hubject, Dominik held roles at Compliance Partners, Charge Amps, and WorldTicket, where he focused on driving strategic partnerships and market expansion across Europe.

Since joining Hubject in 2024, Dominik has advanced through several commercial leadership roles and now serves as the European Team Lead, overseeing sales strategy and partner growth. Dragoș Teodorescu, Technical Director at Eldrive Romania, leads the rapid expansion of the company’s charging network, driving the deployment of reliable, scalable, and future-ready EV charging infrastructure across Romania. With a strong background in electrical engineering and infrastructure development, he plays a key role in shaping Eldrive’s network and supporting its continued growth. He holds a BSc in Electrical Systems and an MSc in Electrical Engineering and Applied Informatics from the University Politehnica of Bucharest.

Dr. Andreas Piepenbrink is CEO of HagerEnergy and Vice President Energy Management Solutions at :hager. He studied Electrical Engineering and holds a PhD in Control Engineering. His career includes 12 years of management experience in the automotive industry, spanning three years at Kostal Elektronik in manufacturing automation, five years at ZF Friedrichshafen as Head of Transmission Hydraulics, and four years at automotive supplier Karmann, where he served as Head of Electronics and Managing Director of the subsidiary Karmann Engineering. He then spent seven years at Dover Technologies Corporation as global Head of Electronics at Multitest Rosenheim, before joining E3/DC, which he founded in 2010 and which became HagerEnergy in 2018 as a subsidiary of :hager. Under his leadership, HagerEnergy has grown to 350 employees, around €200 million in sales across charging, storage, and metering, and 180,000 customers across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, and the Netherlands, with its home power stations offering a complete system solution for PV and storage that integrates AI360° energy management alongside AC and Bidi charging solutions for residential and semi-public use. Dr. Piepenbrink is widely regarded as one of today's prominent experts in stationary battery storage and sector coupling between homes and electric vehicles.

Dr. Arndt von Twickel is Head of Division D 23 – Transport and Industry 4.0 at the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), a role he has held since early 2023. His division is responsible for cybersecurity in the digitalization of road transport and Industry 4.0, including vulnerability and incident analysis, technical projects on emerging vehicle and infrastructure technologies, and the development of technical guidelines and testing requirements. Dr. von Twickel joined the BSI in 2018, where he worked as a technical officer and project manager on biometrics, artificial intelligence, and automotive security before taking on his current leadership role.

Before joining the BSI, he worked as a researcher and lecturer in neurobiology, neuroinformatics, and robotics at several research institutions, and holds a PhD with a research background spanning biometrics, face recognition, neurorobotics, and evolutionary robotics.

Dr. Christoph Heilmann is Managing Director of ChargeGuru Germany, one of Europe’s leading CPOs for private charging in apartment and office buildings — a company that manages charging contracts covering around two million parking spaces across the continent. He leads the ChargeGuru Germany since November 2025 after joining ChargeGuru as Director of Operations in 2024.

Christoph has worked at the intersection of energy, automotive and EV charging for over a decade. He spent nine years at McKinsey & Company, most recently as Engagement Manager, leading strategy, growth and digitalisation projects for energy and automotive players across Germany, the UK and Central America. He holds a PhD from the Technical University of Munich, where his doctoral research focused on smart charging and its impact on power grids.

Elisa Paoli brings more than 10 years of experience in renewable energy, industrial decarbonization, and business development. As Director of Business Development and Strategy at Plexar Energy, she leads commercial strategy, partnerships, and growth initiatives focused on industrial electrification and microgrids. Prior to joining Plexar, she was part of the Investor Relations and Business Development team at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), where she contributed to the creation of the Microgrid Electrification Fund (MEF) and Plexar Energy. Before co-founding RAEDIAN, Enzo worked at ABB E-mobility as Principal Engineer for the AC charging portfolio, R&D Manager, and System Architect. With a background in engineering and product development, he focuses on translating technical requirements and market needs into practical and scalable solutions.

Eugenio Grandio, President of the EMA Electro Movilidad Asociación (Electromobility Association), is a pioneer in the transition to electric vehicles in Mexico and an expert in the field. Until June 2024, Eugenio served as head of business development and government affairs for Tesla in Mexico and the LATAM region. He led the project for the site selection and negotiation of the planned Gigafactory to be built in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.  He also led various areas, including sales, market expansion, and the deployment of the Supercharger and charging network in Mexico.  Grandio successfully introduced electric vehicle programs for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Panama. He also played a key role in drafting and generating public policies that accelerated the adoption of electric vehicles in these countries.  His career showcases his great passion for the automotive industry and his early interest in electrification, aligning with the latest industry trends and leading him to work for industry leaders. He began his career as a Kaizen Promoter at a Toyota dealership, where he was responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Later, he worked at BMW Group Mexico for eight years in areas such as sales, operations, and dealer development. Ultimately, he led the strategy for introducing BMWi electric vehicles in Mexico and Latin America, making them among the first EVs in these countries.  Today, his talent and experience are focused on the mission of accelerating the transition to electric mobility and promoting the ecosystem that enables the adoption of these technologies in Mexico.  Eugenio holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Anáhuac University. 

Finn Wilson is Program Manager for Energy Solutions Europe at Prologis. He works across logistics real estate, energy infrastructure and commercial fleet electrification, bringing together customers, property teams and delivery partners to develop scalable energy solutions. His work focuses on turning customer demand into practical, investable programmes, including depot charging, workplace charging and the supporting power infrastructure required across European logistics portfolios.

Francis Romano is CEO of Drive Electric Solutions Ltd and Founder of Knights Energy, BRReTTeC and E-Charge Africa, building an integrated e-mobility ecosystem across charging, interoperability, renewable energy, EV deployment, battery circularity and skills development.

An e-mobility pioneer in Kenya since 2013, he brings together utilities, technology companies, financiers, government and academia to scale practical solutions for African markets. His philosophy, “Brewed from an African Pot,” combines global technology and standards with African innovation, renewable energy, local capability and market realities to create commercially scalable mobility solutions.

Frédéric Ridou is Director Charging Network Development at Huawei Digital Power, where he is responsible for driving the deployment of innovative EV charging solutions in Germany. An Alumni of GEM, ESCP, BI Oslo and IFP School, Frédéric has held business development positions across the French and German energy and EV Charging sectors. His focus is on high-power charging, charging infrastructure and the integration of energy storage solutions to address the growing demands of electric mobility. He is particularly engaged in working with CPOs and EV charging infrastructure partners to accelerate the transition towards scalable and reliable charging networks.

Gerónimo Martínez is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of S2G Energy, a Mexico-based energy and mobility technology company. He brings more than 25 years of international experience across management consulting, strategy, supply chain and operations.

S2G Energy began in industrial energy digitization, instrumenting electricity, gas and water consumption for industrial and commercial operators. That business remains active across more than 150 sites and several thousand connected sensors, and it shaped how the company later approached charging: S2G entered electromobility from the energy side of the meter, treating load behaviour, tariff structure and site-level electrical constraints as design inputs rather than downstream complications.

Electromobility is now the company’s growth engine and its source of scale. Through EV Sync, its charge point management platform, S2G operates multibrand charging infrastructure across last-mile fleets, workplaces, campuses, retail destinations and multifamily residential buildings, including one of Latin America’s largest electric delivery fleet operations.

Current priorities are standardized residential charging hubs and selective DC corridor nodes along the Mexico–US border. He is a mechanical engineer with senior management studies at IPADE, a guest lecturer in Energy Transition at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and S2G Energy is a member of Mexico’s Electromobility Association (EMA).

Gianluigi leads EY-Parthenon Strategy’s Private Equity practice in Paris. With 25 years in strategy consulting, he has advised PE funds and PortCos on 300+ engagements pre and post deal. His experience covers the whole EV Charging value chain, bringing hands-on expertise to his clients. He and his team played a key role in many major CPO transactions across Europe.

Glenn L’Heveder is VP Business Development Europe at AMPECO, based in Paris. He has spent fifteen years in enterprise software and e-mobility, first running smart grid programmes for utilities including Iberdrola, GRDF and EDP, later at Hubject and GreenFlux. As AMPECO’s first hire outside Bulgaria he built the European business development team, and he led the partnership with Indigo.

Hossein Kazemi has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry. Throughout his career, he has led the design, development, compliance and manufacture of high-power, high-voltage electronics equipment for diverse energy applications. Prior to joining ChargePoint in 2019, Hossein led the design, development and manufacture of BMS, DC to DC converter and software for the Primus Power flow battery technology. Hossein previously held leadership positions at Schneider Electric and GreenVol

James Kennedy is a Founder and the Chief Executive Officer at Virtos, developing megawatt-scale charging equipment with unparalleled reliability. James has more than twenty-five years of experience in startups, power electronics, electric vehicles, charging equipment, and public infrastructure, including the role of CTO at Tritium from founding until public listing in 2021.

James views the grid-scale product area being concentrated on by Virtos as the next frontier of worldwide electrification of transport, and the next step up in both product maturity and production volumes for the industry. He started Virtos to pursue exactly these aims.

James has a long association with electric vehicles & charging equipment. Prior to Virtos and Tritium, James was involved with the University of Queensland’s SunShark solar racing car in the late 1990’s. He has also been integral in other electrification-related projects, ranging from James Cameron’s Deepsea Challenger submarine to large stationary storage systems in green buildings.

Jana brings 15+ years of experience across financial services, automotive, energy management and e-mobility. From Business Sales Lead at Tesla to now Head of Sales at DCS, she combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and a strong customer- and sales-driven approach to scaling e-mobility partnerships.

Jean Gadrat is Chief Marketing Officer at Allego, a leading European Charge Point Operator with operations in 15 countries and a network of more than 35,000 charging points. In his role, he leads product, marketing, sales and digital strategy, driving charger utilization, customer experience and business growth across one of Europe's largest public charging networks.

A seasoned executive with over two decades of experience in mobility and infrastructure, Jean has built and scaled businesses at the intersection of transportation, digital services and energy transition. Before joining Allego, he served as CEO of Meridiam's EV charging businesses in France and Germany, where he led the deployment of €200 million in charging infrastructure investments. Previously, he founded Indigo weel, one of France's multimodal e-mobility platforms, and held international leadership positions at Indigo and VINCI.

Throughout his career, Jean has focused on bringing together infrastructure, technology and customer insight to develop sustainable mobility solutions. He is a recognized leader in the electrification of transport and the evolution of Europe's charging ecosystem.

Jens Römer is Managing Director at Amplify. He brings more than nine years of international experience in eMobility, with a strong record of turning charging technology into commercially successful products. Following senior roles at Mercedes-Benz, EnBW mobility+ and E.ON, he joined Amplify in 2024, a boutique advisory combining strategy consulting and marketing for CPOs, CPMS vendors, hardware manufacturers and tech providers across Europe. 

Jens Thomas is CEO of chargeIQ and an experienced leader in eMobility, EV charging software, and international market development. Having held senior roles at chargecloud, StreetScooter, and Deutsche Post DHL, he brings deep expertise in scaling products, teams, and commercial operations. By connecting technology, customer needs, and a clear product vision, Jens drives sustainable growth and builds resilient organizations in a rapidly evolving market.

With more than two decades of auto industry experience, Jessica has been leading electric mobility topics at Audi of America for over 5 years. She has helped shape the brand’s transition to electric mobility, from leading the launch of Audi’s first fully electric vehicle in the U.S. to advancing charging strategy and expanding fast-charging access. Her work spans product, charging infrastructure, and go-to-market strategy, with a focus on making electric mobility more accessible and intuitive for customers.
