Since September 2025, Dr. Jan Strobel has served as Head of Department for Energy Efficiency, Sales, and Mobility, previously leading the Department for Regulation, Market Communication, and Mobility at BDEW – the German Association of Energy and Water Industries in Berlin. Prior to this, he spent three years as Head of Project Development at a wind farm developer and six years in consulting at Capgemini Consulting with a focus on the energy sector. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Free University of Berlin, specializing in alternative fuels, and studied Political Science at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen.
