Dr. Christoph Heilmann is Managing Director of ChargeGuru Germany, one of Europe’s leading CPOs for private charging in apartment and office buildings — a company that manages charging contracts covering around two million parking spaces across the continent. He leads the ChargeGuru Germany since November 2025 after joining ChargeGuru as Director of Operations in 2024.

Christoph has worked at the intersection of energy, automotive and EV charging for over a decade. He spent nine years at McKinsey & Company, most recently as Engagement Manager, leading strategy, growth and digitalisation projects for energy and automotive players across Germany, the UK and Central America. He holds a PhD from the Technical University of Munich, where his doctoral research focused on smart charging and its impact on power grids.

At ChargeGuru, he combines that technical depth with hands-on operational leadership to advance the company’s mission of making EV charging in shared and private buildings simple, reliable and accessible across Europe.
