How would you explain your business model?
Swytch is a B2B SaaS product priced per vehicle, because value is created when a vehicle departs ready, not when a charging socket is occupied. We sell directly to fleets and primarily as an embedded module through charge point management systems, telematics, transport management, and energy platforms. Partners gain a fleet-readiness capability without building it internally, while fleets retain vendor independence. Revenue combines recurring subscriptions with setup fees for non-standard integrations and enterprise support.
What makes your idea unique compared to your competitors?
Most smart-charging software optimises energy cost or charger utilisation. Swytch optimises a different outcome: will the right vehicle be ready for its next duty? Swytch maintains a shared operational model across charging platforms, telematics, duty schedules and site power. When a charging session fails, a vehicle returns late or a duty changes, Swytch recalculates the plan, recommends or executes recovery within operator-defined policies, and escalates only when readiness cannot be protected automatically. Because Swytch sits above individual systems, it remains vendor-neutral and builds cross-platform action-to-outcome data that no single CPMS, telematics or energy platform can create alone.
Where do you see your company in the next 5 years?
By 2031, Swytch will be the standard coordination layer embedded across European CPMS, telematics and fleet-management ecosystems. It will coordinate charging across hundreds of mixed-OEM depots, translating duty requirements, live charger status, vehicle state and energy constraints into reliable, explainable decisions.
Fleets will no longer manage charging system by system. Swytch will make vehicle readiness the shared operating outcome across the ecosystem, while enabling lower energy costs, smarter use of grid capacity and future V2G participation without taking control away from operators.
