How would you explain your business model?

QuantumDrive combines a free B2C application with scalable B2B revenue streams. The consumer application helps drivers use electric vehicles with greater confidence while creating an aggregated and anonymised understanding of mobility and charging intentions. Our B2B model includes SaaS subscriptions for charging network intelligence and analytics, white-label tools and APIs for automotive media, mobility apps and corporate partners, EV recommenders and interactive tools that generate qualified vehicle-purchase leads, data and analysis services for charging operators and fleet electrification, and revenue linked to energy-saving certificates and electric vehicle adoption. This model allows QuantumDrive to grow its user base while monetising its technology, data capabilities and distribution through business customers.

What makes your idea unique compared to your competitors?

Most electric mobility platforms only observe drivers when they arrive at a charging station or after a charging session has taken place. QuantumDrive captures the decisions that happen before charging: where drivers want to go, which vehicle they use, their battery level, the routes they consider and where they may need to stop. This creates a unique layer of mobility intelligence based on charging intention rather than only historical charging activity. QuantumDrive connects three elements in a single platform: a useful application that helps drivers make better EV decisions, proprietary signals about routes, range and charging intention, and business tools that help companies understand, serve and activate electric mobility demand. Our objective is not simply to show charging stations, but to understand where charging will be needed before the session exists.

Where do you see your company in the next 5 years?

In five years, QuantumDrive aims to become one of Europe's leading intelligence and decision platforms for electric mobility. We envision QuantumDrive being used by hundreds of thousands of drivers to plan electric journeys and understand which vehicle, route and charging option best fits their needs. For businesses, QuantumDrive will provide a common intelligence layer connecting drivers, charging operators, automotive companies, fleets, media and energy providers. Our technology will help companies identify where new charging infrastructure is needed, improve the performance of existing charging networks, integrate EV route planning into their own applications, qualify electric vehicle demand, accelerate fleet electrification, and make investment decisions using real mobility intention data. We expect to expand from Spain and Portugal into other European markets, combining local charging data with a scalable route-planning, recommendation and mobility-intelligence platform.
