How would you explain your business model?
Everyone talks about how fast networks are scaling, but we ask our customers: are you actually scaling this fast? Plugz was founded in 2022 and has been an EV charging tech agency serving operators to grow their networks without growing the cost and complexity of running them. Projects we've completed are e.g. the technical chargepoint and chargecard migration Shell Recharge to 50five, delivering MSP reservation platforms to Eneco E-Mobility, and building MSP driver apps for MultiTankcard. Everything we’ve learned about complex CPO and MSP operations and the people behind them now comes together in Joe, the EV support sidekick.
What makes your idea unique compared to your competitors?
Most AI solutions in our market are semi-stack: they connect exclusively to the technical charge point layer, and therefore only resolve part of the critical puzzle. Drawing on our experience in CPO, MSP and CRM operations, our unique vision is to deliver full-stack support for CPOs and MSPs — connecting to the full stack of data layers and opening up the complete picture. Moreover, today's support shouldn't stop at resolving issues: it should uncover root causes, eliminate them and improve business processes, making operators more efficient in today's e-mobility market.
In short:
(1) full-stack support is critical to handle every driver question accurately, and
(2) those full-picture driver conversations should be used to eliminate root causes and improve operator processes — on the road to a frictionless driver experience.

Over the next 5 years, Joe is transforming from a Plugz spin-off to be the service that growing CPOs and MSPs in Europe rely on to stay efficient and profitable in a consolidating market. This week, we've launched the Joe website, created our LinkedIn page and campaign will run as of the upcoming weeks. Right now, it is critical for Joe to inform our market on how we can help, for which the Hubject Startup award would be a genuinely great idea.
