Trishan Peruma received a Business and International Law Master's degree from the University of Sydney, with a specialization in energy, development, and climate change. Trishan began his career at Shell in Asia-Pacific.

He went on to Pod Point as Head of Automotive where he led the development of fleet strategy and the expansion into Norway. He managed automotive sales and partnerships across direct and indirect channels, including home charging, dealerships, and fleets.

In 2019, Trishan joined ViriCiti as Head of Business Development in North America. He oversaw key projects with major transit agencies including LA Metro, Toronto Transit Commission, and Chicago Transit Authority, integrating EV and charger management software with local utilities, OEMs, and EVSE providers.

Trishan Peruma was appointed CEO of Hubject North America in 2022. Trishan’s primary focus is on the strategy and growth of Hubject’s North American products including overseeing the growth of the market leading Plug&Charge ecosystem and intercharge, a B2B eRoaming marketplace.
