Teun van Sinten is the founder/co-owner and current CEO of Covolt. After graduating in Construction Engineering and Management in Tilburg, he developed a connection with solar energy. His first introduction to solar energy came in 2012 when he built a PV installation on his parents' business premises. From that moment, his connection with solar energy was firmly established. After nearly ten years of building an EPC company for solar energy installations, his interest in asset management and the aggregation of flexibility became increasingly clear. This led to the founding of Covolt. Covolt was officially established in 2021, but after the sale of the EPC company in 2023, Teun fully focused on Covolt. As CEO, Teun concentrates on the commercial, strategic, and development aspects of the company.
