Orville Thomas is the CEO of the California Energy, Power, and Innovation Collaborative (Cal EPIC), a California-based nonprofit focused on accelerating research, development, and manufacturing of clean energy and transportation technology. Cal EPIC recently opened a 33,000 square foot Innovation Hub that includes workforce training areas for EV and EV charger technicians, a 3,000 square foot manufacturing and prototyping lab, and is the home of the Capital Charge Yard, California’s first publicly accessible EVSE interoperability and conformance testing center.
