Michael Schuster is Team Lead Sustainable Mobility at GIZ Kenya and Director of the Promotion of Electric Mobility Project. A seasoned development professional with extensive experience in international development cooperation in the transport sector, including in China, South Africa and Kenya. His current work advances Kenya’s sustainable development goals through innovation in enabling frameworks, charging infrastructure and grid integration as well as battery circularity and local value creation. He studied Transport Economics and Engineering at the University of Dresden, Germany, and graduated in Business Engineering.
