Kai Fieber is CTO and co-founder of Ambibox GmbH. He has been involved in the combination of the energy world and electromobility for almost 15 years.

He always translates between the “suits and nerds”.

Following his apprenticeship at Deutsche Bahn and his studies in electrical engineering, he has completed further courses in project management and patent law in recent years.

He is and has always been active in cross-disciplinary and cross-technology functions.

From product development to the testing of charging technology and battery storage systems, through a wide variety of research and development projects, consulting, to the planning and construction of charging parks and energy systems, he has supported a wide range of international and well-known companies and partners.

For one of the former largest renewable energy companies, for example, he was responsible for the development of an EMS and data logger for the global power plant portfolio.

For Foxconn, he supported the establishment of a European design center and the foray into the energy sector.

With the Ambibox team, he is already behind many developments of energy storage systems from Home ESS to the fully integrated BESS container. And now also behind the bidirectional DC wallbox.

In various technical and standardization committees, he is working for interoperability and standardization in these areas.
