Since 2023, Anton Achatz has served as Managing Director of Mer Austria and, as of April 2025, also holds the role of Director of Public Charging at Mer Germany. In this strategically important dual role, he leads the public charging business in both Germany and Austria. With over 13 years of industry experience, he was previously responsible as technical and operational managing director for developing E-WALD GmbH from a publicly funded research project into a company recognized across Europe. After the acquisition by Statkraft in 2021, he initially joined the management team of the sister company Mer Germany within the European Mer Group, before taking over the leadership of Mer Austria. With strong technical expertise and strategic foresight, he is guiding the company toward sustainable economic and sales success.
